Nature at the Brighton Millpond in Michigan

The setting sun radiated God rays from behind a pondside tree in Brighton, Michigan. Minutes later, when the clouds fell into deep shadow, the sun lit a contrail high above them in evening pinks and pale yellow. Both images appear cold with their steel grays yet the night was sultry.
