Thank you sooooo much for letting me feed the ducks at the Mill Pond.It was so fun feeling them tickle my fingers while they were eating!I am thinking about being a wildlife or marine biologist when I grow up. But when I first saw you,You inspired me to be like you.I should thank you again so THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

    Hi Meadow,

I’m glad you enjoyed meeting some millpond ducks. You’ll make a fine biologist, but you don’t have to wait until you grow up. You can start your studies right now in your backyard and around where you live. Spend lots of time outdoors exploring. It’s baby season right now so you’ll see lots of young birds and critters. You can study what they do and what they eat. Start your own journal about what you see.

Thanks for visiting my blog about Brighton’s millpond. I hope you’ll come back often to read about what’s happening there! Ducklings will be born any day now. I’ll post pictures of them as soon as I find them.

You'll find information about the resident ducks, birds, and critters residing at the Brighton millpond. I slip in my art and poetry, but my photography of wildlife and plants is the primary focus.
