On Christmas night just after dark, I expected to see some families out walking off their feasts in the downtown area, but a light dusting of snow told me only one other soul had walked near the millpond in the past couple of hours. Meanwhile, “Decision Pending” by sculptor Jay Holland was dressed in his Holiday finery. I’m not sure what that pillow at his waist is all about. Maybe to protect his bellybutton from the cold?

The Elves, Still Stringing

Gosh, you’d think they’d be done stringing lights by now. Since they are doing it on the patio of the Downtown Main Martini Bar & Grill, they might have spent some time at the bar before they started.
